What is social commerce?

It's the new way of sharing.

Instead of SELLING or ADVERTISING, it's done socially online, and offline. Instead of spending millions or billions on ads, we give money to people who tell others socially about how to save money on goods and services.

For example... If I socially share with you a great low cost mobile phone plan and you join it (which I've been doing a lot of), I'll make money when you join. I shared it socially in a free places so there was no advertising costs involved. If I share a great vacation deal with you and you buy it, again, that's social commerce in action, you get a great deal on a trip.

I make a small commission instead of the advertiser having to pay a huge amount of money to some ad agency. This is the way people share now. A relationship with somone = way more trust and credibility than no relationship with something you heard on the radio while driving.

If a friend you like tells you to see a movie they enjoyed, you'll go, based on that single relationship.

If a friend you know eats out at a restaurant and loved the food, and then they tell you that you just gotta eat there... you go.. based on the recommendation of a friend.

If you stay at this amazing 4 star resort in Hawaii, and share it with friends, your friends will trust you that going there will be an enjoyable experience for them too.

We do a lot because of word of mouth "sharing".
