Why Facebook Sucks (time sensitive)

I have a LOVE / HATE relationship with Facebook.

I love using it for marketing. But I hate using it for social stuff.
Pretty lame, huh?

I dunno, I guess I am kind of an introvert and do not always post
personal stuff or click on other people's stuff, or like stuff.

I am just weird that way... But hey... whacha gonna do? I am
who I am. I know Facebook tracks all my clicks and likes and
will target ME for ads :) I am a marketer, yet I hate being
marketed to! I need to see a therapist I guess ... hahahaha!

So, why does Facebook suck?

They suck because they have one of the most awesome ad/targeting
engines on the planet Earth, but fail to train or show people how
to use it.

Do you ever get frustrated by that? It drives me crazy. They expect
me to dig through mountains of text "help" files to find answers
or post on a help wall, where someone "might" show up with an
answer in a couple months.

Ever tried to get someone at Facebook on the phone?

Ever sent an email to Facebook and got a response?

Ever seen Facebook do an awesome training video showing you
ninja new ways to use their ads platform to get more sales?

No! cause they dont do it!

So, you have a couple choices, you can go buy some outdated FB
marketing courses that were released in early 2014 which are
now completely irrelevant because of all the recent changes in
FB's ads platform and get bad advice and best practices that are
over a year old.

I don't recommend that.

Or

Figure it out Yourself. I tried this too in 2013, I watched a few
videos I got and thought to myself... "I can do this. This looks
pretty easy."

And $500 worth of ad spend later, with no leads or sales... wow
that was like driving down interstate 94 and just throwing $500
out the window screaming... "Here Facebook! Take my money!"

so... what is a good solution for people struggling to use Facebook's
ad engine?
