I didn't say this,, some one else did... [4 min. read]

Hey ,
Can I give you a quick lesson on marketing? I hope you don't mind
me taking some time out of your day and giving you some free
coaching.
Call this "4 minute coaching"
I think you'll like it actually because, if you begin to use
what I am about to show you, I can promise you a super increase
in your sales for your products.
Notice the title of my email, "I did not say this"... so if I
did not say this... then who did?
Well, it's my customers and clients that did.
Last weekend, I did my 4th Outsource and Leverage Workshop
here in Minnesota, and it was watched by 100's of people.
Here is what I did, I asked people if they enjoyed the workshop
to let me know, send me a testimonial. (I'll share some at the
end of the email for you to enjoy)
The lesson today is on using testimonials to speak on your behalf
without you having to do the speaking yourself.
Funny thing about marketing is... people believe 3rd party
endorsements more than they believe the main party.
What that means is...
People are more likely to trust someone else talking about my
products and coaching than me talking about my products and coaching.
Why?
Well, it'd would be real easy for me to get up and just say a
bunch of great things about myself and my products and my companies
and even if everything I said was true... because it came from
my mouth, and I am the main principle... people take it with some
skepticism and disbelief. I actually could just be making it all
up and scam people (that's what they think in their mind... after
all... they don't know me so, why should they trust me, right?)
Now... that's normal, I can handle that disbelief and the way I
handle it is, I get a bunch of other people to come along side
of me and validate what I just said and let their endorsement
coincide with mine by getting them to talk.
What really makes this hot is when people give you testimonials
and endorsements where there is nothing to gain on their behalf.
They simply love the product, love the experience, love the
energy or love the ideas on how what you or I shared is going
to make their lives easier, simpler, quicker and more fun.
Unsolicited testimonials are the best of them all, when without
even asking, someone rips a letter or video to me and says how
thankful they are for the new skills they got as a result of
some of my training or coaching.
So, how are you doing at asking people to give you testimonials
about your business and your products? Most of the time, you need
to ask. Don't wait for the unsolicited bonus ones. Asking is the key.
It can be scary. Because... you might find out that while 1000
people love you, 4 really think you suck at what you do and
would like a refund. (it happens, we cannot please everyone)
So... you gotta be tough... be like a duck and let the water roll
off your back, the 4 are not worth getting your pants in a bunch
about.
So, what you need to be doing is ASKING your consumers to give
you their opinion about you and your products, and ask for permission
to post their comments on your website, blog, emails and to be able
to use it for your own marketing purposes.
I learned how to give testimonials from being in church actually!
As a Pastor, we always talked about "giving our testimony" which
was the story how we got saved or meet Jesus and His impact on
our lives.
Usually the story was 3 fold...
1. My life before I met Jesus (problem)
2. How I met Jesus (discovery)
3. How Jesus has made an impact on me since I chose to follow him
(solution)
Funny how the church work I did prepped me for this huh? :)
So, in marketing, its really no different.
1. My life before I took, bought, read, consumed your product
(problem)
2. How I found your product or discovered it (discovery)
3. How my life is now different because I bought it and used it
(solution)
Use this simple 3 step formula and educate your members and groups
on how to give you glowing testimonials. It is something that does
need to be taught and asked for. It simply never hurts to ask!
Get testimonials in 3 formats... written, audio or video. All work
great, but videos seems to be the most believable.
Now, I promised I would share with you some good testimonials, and
I did not say these words, these are the words people chose to
talk about me and what I had done for them....
So... I'll shut up now and let them speak for themselves, enjoy...
"I'm a Dan Kennedy member and it was costing me about $7000 to $
8000 a year with travel, hotels and the training courses that were
being sold at his seminars.
What Jeff and his team are doing is just as good and maybe better
than anything I have been too, because he's showing you how to have
a life. This is the business model you should be building. It's
about the quality of life. Don't get sucked into the system by
creating a J.O.B.
People know me as Mr. Screw Off, I don't like to work year round.
My goal is to have QUALITY screw off time.
Thanks Jeff and to everyone, as always you OVER DELIVER."

"I've been struggling along, doing everything myself in 12 and 16
hour days, telling myself I can't afford to outsource. Here I am,
helping people manage their Inner Game and their stress, and
although I feel great inside, I am out of balance on the Outer Game!
I can reduce my stress and reach more people I want to help using
the AMAZING things I learned in just the presentation from John
Jonas and Jeff Mills alone! By hiring just one person full time, I
will be able to help more people, AND have a personal life again.
If you haven't checked out this whole outsourcing thing - get in
touch with Jeff Mills, because these guys know how to live the "4
Hour Work Week" dream.
If you're stressed out or overwhelmed, go get some free help on my
blog at http://www.StressFreeIn7Minutes.com, then get your Outer
Game in order with Jeff and his Outsource Secrets Revealed courses."

"As an import customs broker, I struggle with how to use my
expertise and turn it into a business without killing myself giving
speeches and giving consultations in person. With the knowledge
gained here, I can have others put my expertise online and sell it
while I sleep. A much better business model.
I do think this training was much more useful than most other
internet trainings I have been to. I loved the online way of
delivery. Can be in my pj's and still enjoy while sipping my
jasmine tea. Also, the content does not depend on me learning the
latest internet gizmo. I was an engineer once and want to leave
that far behind. This allows me to do that.
Thanks alot and look forward to implementing what I learned."
- Howard Fox
"Wow! Talk about specifics and ideas to actually get the work done
that matters. This is how to implement "The 4-Hour Work Week".
Sweet!
Jeff and John, it's so great that you let us peek into the seminar
from the Internet. Time to go to town, and get the Business Plan
work done so the goal takes shape. Then it's time to watch the
replays - again - and then put some more pieces into action.
Something tells me that I'll go back and repeat. Watch, study, take
notes - and go take action yet again. By this stage I'll have some
of my tasks outsourced.
I'm in the initial build phase on my business, so the sheer volume
of great stuff here is overwhelming! Bite by bite, and step by step.
Will you be doing this again next year? I fully expect to be with
you in person in 2010 - live.
Now where is that "4-Hour Work Week" book again?"
Cheers,
Tim Junck

"My name is Dean Grohskopf, and as a home business owner, I
struggled with the massive amount of knowledge I thought I had to
obtain in order to successfully market my home business on the
internet. That was before I attended the Outsource Workshop.
But now, since I have been to Jeff Mill's Outsource Workshop, I
have learned that running my home business is about being CEO of my
company, and NOT about learning how to everything myself. Rather, I
need to manage and delegate tasks to others.
I now have the knowledge and tools necessary to run my business,
and not have my business run me."
- Dean Grohskopf
Ok, those are just a few of the pile of testimonials I got from
the content from my workshop last weekend.
Now, what I did was I recorded the whole workshop, and put all the
videos up online so people can watch the replays if they feel
this information will benefit them.
So.. don't take my word for it, listen to what Earl, Kay, Howard,
Tim and Dean had to say and see if it makes sense for you to
invest some of your valuable time to check out the recordings
of my workshop. (if you don't like them, I'll give you all your
money back.. fair enough?)
Normally, people would pay up to $1997 to attend this workshop live,
and I decided to give you all a big big big price break, so, just
check it out if you need to work less and make more money...
It might be right for you and be exactly what you are looking for
or maybe you are already living the 4 hour workweek? Either way,
take the lessons to heart and I'll have more to share soon...
http://www.outsourceworkshop.com <-- click here to get the replay
videos so you can experience what Earl, Kay, Howard, Tim and Dean
experienced.
It's priced affordably so everyone can benefit from it without
even putting a dent in your finances.
