We're getting ready for Thanksgiving in the new
Mills household, as Izzy and I are going to 
my parents this year to Huntington Beach, CA.

It's been really cold here in MinneSNOWda so 
we are excited to see some sun, to say the least.
(at least there is no snow here yet!)

It's supposed to be in the 80-90s this week in 
Orange County and I look forward to standing
in line with folks at Knott's Berry Farm on Saturday
to ride on some roller coasters and hang out with
Izzy and my neice.

If you are in the area... let's hook up at Knott's! My
bro works there for over 20 years and always hooks
me up!
 
Also, THANK YOU!! I know a lot of you have 
reached out to me this past last week - after I 
emailed out the video update on what I've 
been up to.. and again, from the bottom of 
my heart, thank you.
 
I did a keynote presentation in Las Vegas a 
few weeks back.. and the title was called 
"Transparency."
 
As a lot of you know... It's always been my motto. 
 
Over these last 15 years I've been an open book - 
publicly living out my life and business online, as 
a leader in the Internet Marketing Industry. When 
I retired from "paid ministry" - taking the leap into 
running my own online business, I learned that 
honesty - and transparency was the BEST policy!
 
Throughout that time, I shared my experiences in 
many different businesses I worked in. Some achieving 
more success than others, generating multi-millions
in sales all together... and the ONE thing that ALWAYS
worked in my benefit was my approach - which was
sharing my experiences through TRUTH and keeping it
real.
 
And as good of a ride these last 15 years has been.. 
the truth is, 2017 has been my worst year ever.
 
To be more specific, there are 3 things that happened 
this year which made it a bad year for me:
 
1. Health - my health has been on the decline over
this last fall, and the issue being a large nasty kidney
stone... I had to finally get it removed and they stuck
tubes up my well, use your imagination... not cool! But
the stone is gone and I am back on track to feeling
100% good. 
 
2. Business - I got in a new venture selling travel Club
memberships "on the road." This was a new business
model I always wanted to do. So I ventured off to Hawaii
for a few months and... a long story short, the business
ended up having a lot of unforeseen financial things
happened (costing me 6 figures in the process) - and
I'm still dealing with some of that financial mess now... 
And... it's painful to fail, but I am on the bike and I keep
peddling, just a speed temporary speed bump and a big
learning experience.
 
3. Marriage - my marriage of 21 years has come to an
end, and my wife and I are in the process of a divorce. This
will probably shock you the most. But... we've both changed
a lot over the 21 years we've been married and we both
came to the conclusion the best way moving forward was to
divorce and go our own ways, while remaining friends and
doing our best to care for Izzy, our daughter.

I've now moved over to Woodbury, MN and have my own
apartment which is nice and I am no longer working inside
the "closet office"...

I've officially come out of the closet and moved into the
OCTAGON!

The REASON WHY I'm telling you all this...?
 
TRANSPARENCY...
 
The truth is, life isn't always rainbows and butterflies. 
 
Sometimes life and business knocks you down, and 
sometimes is seems to come all at once.

Sometimes you pay big time for your mistakes and it's hard
and difficult to come back up from big failures.

The good news is, it doesn't matter how you
start--ONLY HOW YOU FINISH.
 
Which is why FINO has become my new mantra!
 
FINO stands for "Failure Is No Option".
 
Because, like my friend Ryan says...  
"Failure Is No Option.. I ONLY RISE!"
 
Meaning, when life and business wants to 
throw some punches I fight back and don't 
allow failure to define me.
 
We all face setbacks and challenges-- 
but those are and should be temporary 
stops along the way.
 
I don't know about you, but I'm not letting any
setbacks hold me down cause it's time for
a MAJOR COMEBACK!
